The Deluxe Flat Top Plate with Hinged Cap attaches to chimneys with NO clay tile exposed at the chimney top. If you like a more traditional style single flue chimney rain cap, then the Deluxe Flat Top Plate with Hinged Cap is a perfect fit. If you already have single flue caps on other flues, the deluxe top plate will be a great match.
The collar quick-connect band clamp securely tightens to the flexible chimney liner with ease and supports the weight of the liner while also keeping rain, wind, and snow out of the existing flue. The Deluxe Hinged Top Plate Chimney Cap is available in three plate sizes: 13" x 13", 13" x 17" and 17" x 17". Features 8" screen height. Once installed, simply disengage the clasp to lift the cap open for cleanings. This cap is designed to be mounted to the top of a cement chimney crown. It's recommended to use a bead of silicone on the bottom of the top plate to keep everything water tight. Easy and simple installation! Note: For flexible chimney liners only.
